More Sprockets

Today is my (Lynn) turn to share with you.  I used a Sprocket Sprout to make this album.  I made it for pictures of our Seattle trip in June.  This is a Christmas gift for my parents who were with us.  I don't think my parents would "get" the grunge look (like ripping the sprockets to reveal the corrugated cardboard) so I kept it pretty clean!

I used 2 of the Paper Trunk lines because honestly, I couldn't chose one!  I used Rockabilly and Socialite.  I just love how the colors of Socialite pop on Rockabilly's black and white.

I misted some lil stems to give the cover some texture and paired it with a piece of Paper Trunk flair.  I loved the car since our trip to Seattle was a road trip.  I used the same colors to make a flower with the lil stems...these are one of my favorites to make!  One thing I love about the Punky Sprouts albums is that you can add things to them since they are put together with rings.  I loved the pictures of my kids at the gum wall (I know, I can't believe we let them do that either!) and wanted to keep the whole pictures.  I decided to glue pictures back to back to make it a little sturdier and simply add it to the album that way.  I folded a few of the die-cuts from the Socialite line in half to make some tabs.  The Benny letters from Paper Trunk were the perfect addition to this album to give it a playful feel!
